About this term

Feedback management involves collecting input from agents and buyers about property perceptions. Questions include: What features appeal to buyers? What concerns do they have? What would increase buyer interest? Feedback might indicate: property is overpriced (lots of interest, no offers), needs updates (feedback about outdated kitchen), has perception issues (feedback about layout or condition), or has market position issues (wrong buyer demographic seeing it). Systematic feedback collection (through showing service or direct agent communication) reveals patterns. If all feedback focuses on kitchen, kitchen renovation might justify its cost. If feedback indicates overpricing, price reduction might be more effective than renovation. Sellers who don't monitor feedback risk wasting money on improvements that don't address actual buyer concerns. Feedback also helps sellers adjust marketing: if feedback indicates 'investment opportunity' appeals to buyers, market it to investors.

Pro Tip

Actively solicit feedback from agents after showings. Use it to adjust pricing or make improvements.

Example

After 10 showings, feedback indicates: kitchen dated (7 agents), price high (5 agents), buyer concern about school district (4 agents). This directs seller attention to kitchen updates and price adjustment.
