Find my pathAbout this term
A buyer's agent is legally obligated to represent the buyer's interests above all else, including keeping the buyer's information confidential and disclosing all known facts about the property and transaction. The buyer's agent typically receives compensation from the seller's proceeds (split of the listing commission) and negotiates on behalf of the buyer. Having a buyer's agent is standard practice and provides valuable representation and guidance throughout the transaction.
